How fast does mold grow?
Standing water can lead to mold and fungus growth within 24 to 48 hours. The sooner wet materials are dried or removed, the less there is to deal with.
Can I just clean it myself?
Scrubbing a large patch can send spores through the rest of the house. If it’s more than a small spot, or it keeps coming back, have it inspected first.
